Cockburn’s Port is a port producer in Portugal. Cockburn’s was set up by Scotsman Robert Cockburn in 1815, who returned to Portugal after first visiting the country as a soldier fighting under Wellington in the Napoleonic Wars. It later became a major brand of port in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Serve in a large glass at room temperature or slightly chilled in warm weather. No need to decant. Consume within four to six weeks of opening

Keep well wrapped in the fridge but we do recommend removing cheese from the fridge and any wrapping to allow the cheese the ‘breath’ for an hour or two before serving which will allow the full flavour and character of the cheese to come through!
