This delicious pork joint is great for a family roast, keeping the bone on the meat will only increase the great flavours when roasting. The bone is chined and French trimmed for easy carving whilst still enhancing the best taste.

Prepare the surface of the joint for perfect crackling. Ensure the skin is dry, use kitchen paper to dry the residual moisture. Do not cover the meat during cooking, this creates steam, softening the skin. Some people like to sprinkle a little salt on the skin, this is personal preference and gives a more savoury flavour. Cook for 30 mins per 500g + 35 mins Oven: 180°C, Fan: 160°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 4. Ensure the juices run clear, and there is no pink meat.
